Island Innovator skal bore på britisk sektor

Island Drilling har mottatt kontrakt fra det britiske operatørselskapet CNOOC (Nexen) for boring på britisk side West of Shetland Kontrakten har en varighet på 60 dager firm og opsjoner med oppstart i Juni.

“Island Drilling Company AS er glad for å kunne annonsere at selskapet har blitt tildelt en kontrakt med CNOOC Petroleum Europe Limited, et heleid datterselskap av CNOOC Limited, for å bore en brønn på Howick prospektet, som ligger vest av Shetland, blokk 206/21.

Programmert boreoppstart er andre kvartal 2019. Island Drilling Management vil stå ansvarlig for å drifte operasjonen av Island Innovator.

Island Drilling Company AS takker for at Island Innovator har blitt valgt til dette boreoppdraget.

CNOOC Petroleum Europe Limited er operatør for Howick lisensen med 100% eierandel.

“Island Drilling Company AS is pleased to announce that the company has been awarded a contract with CNOOC Petroleum Europe Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CNOOC Limited, to drill one well on the Howick prospect, located West of Shetland, Block 206/21.

Drilling is scheduled to commence in Q2 2019. Island Drilling Management will be responsible for the operation of the Island Innovator.

Island Drilling Company AS is grateful that the Island Innovator has been chosen for this scope.

CNOOC Petroleum Europe Limited is the operator of Howick, holding a 100% interest.
