Island Drilling is certified in accordance with ISO 14001 and operates its energy management practices in alignment with the principles and requirements of ISO 50001. This reflects our commitment to environmental protection, pollution prevention, and improved energy performance.
Our environmental and energy management activities are governed by structured plans aimed at systematically reducing our carbon footprint, improving resource efficiency, and enhancing energy performance. In parallel, we continuously improve our chemical handling and management processes to minimize environmental impact.

Following the audit plan, closing actions and nonconformances on time, and proactively addressing critical maintenance are key priorities to avoid rework and delays. Clear communication, SMART objectives, and simplified procedures support collaboration and help remove bottlenecks, ensuring effective use of resources.
As an ISO 9001 certified company, we remain committed to embedding quality in every aspect of our operations. By learning from experience, monitoring performance, and acting on improvements, we aim to deliver stable operations, high customer satisfaction, and consistent performance throughout 2026.
SAFETY CULTURE
In 2026, we continue to strengthen our safety culture by making safety a clear priority in everything we do — with no compromises. Our focus is on improving risk understanding through active use of risk assessment tools, targeted training, and systematic follow‑up during planning, execution, and debriefing.
Proactive safety measures such as hazard hunts, exposure registration, and strong observation skills are essential to identifying unsafe conditions and preventing incidents. We emphasize the use of Time Out for Safety when unsafe situations are observed and maintain full commitment to IOGP’s 9 Life‑Saving Rules as the foundation for safe operations.
As a company certified to ISO 45001 and the ISM Code, we integrate occupational health, safety, and risk management into all activities.
